How would you write all the semitones of the C major scale--flats (b) vs sharps (#) or a mixture?

Since you're going to write the all the semitones/half steps of the C major scale, starting at the left with C and ending on B at the right, raising the pitch with each successive semitone (i.e. an ascending chromatic "scale"), in my opinion, the logical thing to use would be sharps (#):
C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B
